Daisy for my Dark Day
A pretty little daisy
floated in
bringing sunshine
to my sadness
No vase will do
for this floral bloom
as I let it float by
to break the gloom
Touching hearts
as it goes
this daisy is more precious
then all the jewels
I'll ever know
Even if a day may come
when she no longer floats my way
the memory
will make me smile just the same.
