COMPLETE TOTAL $296.50 that I spent at bookstores in one month!
Keep in mind this is not counting my decaf lattes which are $4 per visit
Add that in and I have a whopping $340.50 and if I keep up this bad habit of mine then I will have spent a total of $3990.12 for the year 2002.

FUCK I need to do something about this addiction!!

Today is February 1, 2002. I need to stop buying books now. The bad part is I havent even finished reading one entire book that I bought yet. Not one. ;-(

This Addiction

The window's open, and you're draped across the windowsill.
Those innocent eyes, the little girl who's so wise are with you still.
You're dressed to wound, and soon enough, you'll move in for the kill,
'cause nothing, no, nothing equals that particular thrill.
You let a little shiver run down your spine,
as roving eyes are making beelines for your hemline.
You're worried about your eyeliner? I'm worried about the grapevine:
what if he wonders what you do with your spare time?
It's this addiction - you know it is. You think it's harmless 'cause it's not harming you.
It's some addiction. It's stranger than fiction, and you're laughing at me now,
but I know it holds the clue to you.
I know you think you'll keep your cool,
but I can't imagine who you think you're fooling,
when you're lining up opponents for your favorite kind of duel.
You say you know that it's a game, but you forget that it's got rules.
It's this addiction - you know it is. You say you'd never really be untrue.
It's some addiction. It's stranger than fiction, and it's laughing at you now.
You still don't catch the clue, do you?
He's smarter than you know. You know you're going to hit that snag.
He's tired of playing games, you know, he's tired of playing that same old rag,
the parties that you drag him to, where he knows he's just a sight gag.
Call me a nag, but it's a matter of time.
